This is way I do it and it keeps it fun and not to intense, pronghorn in any decent wy unit are not hard to kill. I never hunt opening day seldom even first week. I never plan to shot a buck till atleast day 3 of my hunts, often dont even carry a rifle to glassing spots (stays in vehicle). I split unit or portion of unit i intend to hunt into 2 good size chunks. Day 1 I look at every single pronghorn I can in that side of unit drop way points for anything that interests me, Day 2 do other half. Unless I see a giant(looks out of place different) which truly seldom happens no shots are allowed till I have covered all parts of unit i wanted to. Results in 2 fun days of glassing, BSing with hunting buddy and exploring with zero pressure. Usually after 2 days while sitting in camp next to a fire or over a cold beverage i can say lets go shot blah blah buck, or atleast take another look at him and thats what you do on day 3 or 4. I love looking at pronghorn and judging them, so this suits me. My buddies sometimes get frustrated when we have seen hundreds of animals and rifle hasn't left truck but thats my favorite way. Keep it fun and more than just about pulling a trigger, good luck.
