Fallow in velvet.

Here's me scoring a fallow buck in velvet last friday. I guided a hunter who got it in a safari style hunt. That's the hunter's son helping me there. He has 29+ mainbeams and 6+ inch palms and he scored high gold.

The hunter gave me this Teardrop Damascus steel bladed knife. Its got more special about it. Its the most incredible thing I've been given guiding.

We tried for a big red stag, King's deer, European elk, but he didn't come out. We have to hunt him by waiting in a blind. He is on a ranch with a lot of cover. If we chase animals around on it, they'll mess up their velvet and their antlers, so we have to wait the red stag out in a blind. He will be a big one! We got a glimpse of the one that the hunter wants, but didn't get a good shot.

What do you think? Awesome or what? I'm feeling pretty lucky about all of this right now.

Real nice Fallow Tom; if the other Palm is not split thats a real keeper,I love fallow deer great venison and a real quirky nature as well,course my first ever deer was a fallow so I may be prejudiced.
