Comment: Dear Ronald,
As I sit at my office today eating a tasty Big Mac, I'm excited to start my training for the Boise Iron man this next Monday. The race is June 12th. It will be my first Iron Man, although I have done 2 triathlons in the past. Anyway, I love burgers and choco shakes and everyone I train with eats granola and tofu crud.
2 years ago I did my first Triathlon and wanted to show my support for the best restaurant ever so after the swim and bike portion, I started into my run eating a McDonalds burger and coke. Everyone looked at me like I was from another planet. Although I have to admit that might not be a good think to pound a burger in a race. My point was you don't have to eat just "grass" to be able to compete in a Triathlon.
I would like to be sponsored by McDonalds in my Iron man race. I would love to have "Ronald" along the race handing me a drink of soda in the bike portion and running portion. I'm sure you can get some media out of it if you spin it right.
I enclosed a link of pictures of me in the Triathlon in 2008 with the McDonalds grub. Hopefully I hear back from you soon and we can work something out.
