Heres a pretty cool photo...taken in 1969 or 1970. A 4 point bull my Grandpa shot on Boyd Mountain across from our family cabin on the Blackfoot River. My gramps, My Dad, and my Uncle. I was only 2 years old at the time...

A photo from a few years ago when 4 of us Montana guys got together in Wyoming. Two refugees from MT now turned WY residents and 2 still living in Montana...equals 4 dead bulls in 4 days...a spike, 4 point, 5 point, and this small six point that my buddy took:

Took 2 days to get this elk out whole. First question is why whole? Second question why shoot a calf that far from the truck?

Greenhorn I hope you have all those great pictures backed up on your computer. If you ever lost them it would take an average man 5 life times to fill all those tags again.

Great job and I'm sure you have more.

I obviously didn't kill all those, but I took the photos. I think I've linked almost every elk picture on my photobucket acct to this topic. Key is to pose with every dead animal you see to leave the impression that you are the mighty hunter who got it.

If it's little you let somebody else pose with it. Unless it's really little.

Buzz moves every elk he sees from the borrow pit to the timber, just for the photo opp. He carrys his hunting clothes, an orange vest, and old rifle in his vehicle at all times.

Here are some more Colorado elk.
