CO Shooting

joseidiot,

I believe the media jumped on this politically at the first opportunity and nothing in your NRA tweet suggest anything of the shooting or knowledge there of. I'm sick of your tired liberal claptrap and hope never to share a campfire with you.

The NRA had no knowledge of the shooting at 9:20 am this morning? Holy shit you are naive. They had to be the only people in America who didn't know aboute the massacre in the movie theater.

Happy Shooting from Your Friends at the NRA.

What's your plan Ike, to lay down and die? I'll take my chances with any "problems" I might cause, I might not go the hero route but I'm sure as hell going to try and protect my family. I do agree that a lot more CCW holder's need to attend training on a regular basis in order to access and react to a horrific situation like this. And you are correct about there being no right answer, senseless.

Nope, fight all the way...You just never know though!

You have to be one of the stupidest people alive and a damned liar.

You are in the same ilk as ABC and Brian Ross in a complete fabrication and outright lie in your propagating.

You are however a great solider and complete koolaid drinker. I believe you might have even ate the koolaid box. Saul Lowinski would be right proud of you taking advantage of a tragedy to promote your pathetic agenda.

I'm tired of rats like you constantly spewing your Ted Kacsynski manifesto-esque BS. It is you and your delusional intellect that is naive Joey boy.

What have you done for 2nd amendment rights? As a kid I benefited from NRA programs and as an adult shooting competitions Ihave benefited from NRA programs as have millions and all you can do is lie and exploit an tragedy. You are truly a pathetic puke.

Josewhateveryourstupidscreennameis,

Do you REALLY think the NRA would rah-rah trump up a massacre? How $*)Q!#@$ dumb are you?

Emrah

Ok, I am curious. What prompts you to call me a liar?

I certainly think the NRA is happy to silence all discussion on guns and gun politics in the aftermath of tragedies like the shootings in Colorado in hopes that the public's short attention span will minimize discussion, while they use any remaining discussion to raise money from the minions that blindLy buy into NRA nonsense.

Actually, the first news account I read of the tragedy was on the internet. The very first paragraph of the news story told about the shooting, but then ended with this statement: "The shooter was armed with an assault rifle called an AR-15, the civilian version of the M-16. He also used a pump shotgun and an automatic pistol, after throwing a canister containing a chemical and smoke." On the same page as the article there was a poll with the heading: In the wake of the killings in Colorado, do you believe it's time for stricter gun control laws?

Ben, I believe it was the anit-s and the leftist media that first opened the discussion about gun control, not us paranoid right wing tea-partiers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jose, we already know that you are a rabid anti-NRA advocate, which goes hand in hand with your penchant for all things leftist and your great buddy Obama!!!!!!!! I just fail to understand why an anti like yourself participates on a hunting/gun owner forum, unless it's to stir the shit!!!!!!!!!!

First and foremost, my deepest sympathy’s go out to the victims, their families and all the people of Aurora, Co.
On Friday and Saturday, I listened to several interviews of various people who made the observation that it was despicable to try and politicize a tragedy like this, especially within the first few days of aftermath.

Within minuets, not hours but minuets of this event, there were news reports and internet chatter trying to blame the shootings on the political right.
ABC news insinuated that the shooter was linked to the Tea Party, and left wing bloggers were saying he had literature from Rush Limbaugh and Glen Beck in his apartment, long before authorities ever entered his apartment. All of this “right wing involvement” has proven to be false. In fact, there are photos circulating of the shooter participating in an “Occupy Wall Street” protest, a movement associated with the political left.

As far as the NRA politicizing this tragedy, I for one am glad they are at least bringing out “the other side of the story”. Imagine just how bias the news coverage would be if no one was willing to speak up ?
Does the NRA exaggerate, do they blow things out of proportion ? Yes, absolutely. The political left, and gun control advocates do the same thing, and it works. If you read the “reader comments” section of stories about this tragedy, there are still people trying to claim that “James Holmes” is a right wing nut.

Still got my curiosity. What story did I fabricate?

Looks like you might be the liar.

Typical tactic Ted, trying to turn the accusation around. You are one well trained useful idiot.

O.k. because of your apparent diminished capacity I will spell it out for you. However, you may not recognize what a lie is I understand this.

you stated: "The NRA didn't, they were happy this morning to be able to wake up with another shooting and start scaring people about gun control and seeking donations to build palaces..." and then posted a tweet by the NRA which read "Good Morning shooters, Happy Friday! Weekend plans?

Now try and keep up, your statement concerning their tweet is you applying your rabid hatred without any evidence of intent or any correlation of this tweet to the Colorado shooting. Thus lying about the tweet and thus making you a liar. You exploiting a grave tragedy to expouse your twisted belief. Get it? I doubt it.

Jose and Southwind,

Why dont both of you, for 4 seconds, put your mind in a place where you have to imagine what those people went thru. If you really put effort into that and think about the horrific scene they saw and experienced..........

Just maybe, if you do that you will realize that you are arguing over THE STUPIDEST chit on earth!!! Those that surrvived are going to see that scene for the rest of their lives and here you two are arguging over who called who a liar?????????? What the NRA may or may not have said?????? Talk about petty nonsense!!!

Count your blessings that you sitting at your computer and not sitting at the morgue identifying your child.

Just out of curiousity, what could possibly be the "other side of the story" that you are glad the NRA is bringing up? Are you hoping the NRA will go all "Zimmerman" on the 12 victims of the massacre in Colorado and point out all the bad things those victims might have done in their past or might possibly do in the future? That, somehow, it is good they got shot now, to prevent future crimes? The "other side of the story" for the NRA is full of looney-toon nonsense.

Yep, as I thought, you were lying. I guess that makes you the liar. Glad we got that settled.

And, for the record, yes, the NRA did send that tweet after the shooting spree in Colorado, and, yes, the NRA was "happy" on Friday morning, or, at least, they were wishing a Happy Friday to all their shooters after the massacre in Colorado. To deny is ignorance on your part.

As usual Jose, your response is full of false premise and an attempt to attach words and ideas to whom ever you argue against because you cannot argue with what was actually said.

Regarding the “other side of the story”, the NRA can point out that the weapons used were “simi automatic, not “automatic as Democrat Ed Rendell said on TV this morning. They could point out (as several people did) a legal concealed carrier in the theater could have put an end to the carnage much sooner. They could have schooled “Cokie Roberts” who was hysterical about the prospect of someone having “thousands of rounds of ammunition. Finally, they could point out how ridicules it is to have people who know nothing about firearms discuss public policy and write firearm laws.
I watched ABCs “This Week” with George Steponapolus this morning where two moderates and three liberals discussed the shooting and gun control. I heard at least a dozen statements that were factually not true. Too bad they didn’t have someone from the NRA there as a fact checker,

TedCuevo,

As I thought.

Mtelkhntr78, your point is mine I had family there and this waste of space is playing politics and when I see a down right lie I call it.

It is possible people didn't hear about this. I didn't hear about it for a little bit and I live here. Kinda hard to listen to the radio when you ride a motorcycle to work.

My prayers and thoughts go out to the survivors, family members, and public service workers. It will take a lot of time to heal from such a tragedy.

America has taken prayer out of school, the 10 commandments from public areas; and promotes free-sex, gay-loving pride fest in June, repeal of "Don't ask, Don't tell, movies/games that promote mass killings, witchcraft, etc. And we expect a different result as a nation. As much as the liberal left dislike it; this nation was founded on Christian principles, and until we go back to those principles we can expect more of the same from such sick, crazy individuals.
