Catch All Fishing Thread

Haven't been getting out as much this season as in years past, but enjoyed wet wading and tenkara fishing a brushy and boulder choked little creek yesterday that most folks won't even look twice at. Smallest went the size of my pinky, and this was the largest - kind of a monster for this creek. All were stunningly beautiful.

Snake River voluntary closure now. Thinking about the Green, my home river.

Anglers applaud G&F for fishing closure ‘final warning’ from Local News on my Wyoming Public Media app!

Good on them to shut it down for high water temps. It is every summer in Western MT. I still see stacks of dead fish in slack water from guides releasing fish in water too hot. They are so pompous lecturing bank anglers to make sure they shut down by 2 PM as they float by but the State of MT still has the max temp set too high.

Fishing guides suck. At least here in the Root they do. mtmuley

Great idea, let's drive a resource to the brink, then decide to do something.
The industry hinging on fishing needs to be chopped in half.
I point the finger at the " Bigs" above FWP.
