Browning mag question

I have a browning a bolt 7mm mag and i just bought some berger vlds. the problem comes when im trying to seat the bullets the recommended .0002 off the lands they will not fit in the magazine. is there anything i can do except single load them ( the gun is used for hunting and i dont care for it to be a single shot).thanks in advance.

I used an aluminum bur to grind out the clip of my a bolt 300wm.

If you can't alter the magazine to make them fit, just load them to max mag length and see if they shoot. IIRC, the Classic versions have a different shaped ogive and are supposedly less sensitive to seating depth.

How close can you get? Check out these results comparing groups that ranges from seated on the lands to .010 off with berger vlds.

Had the same issue with the A-Bolt in 300 WSM, as stated above just filed a touch off the mag and all is good.
