Big Tule Elk

Just got back from guiding a Tule elk hunt in Northern CA. My hunter shot this monster on the first morning at 25 yards with a recurve bow. Awesome!!! He will score 313 1/8 and will probably be the largest Tule elk taken with a recurve bow.

Congrats to the hunter. NV is that hunters name Rick Duggan. We hunted with a guy in Alaska that was going for all NA species with a recurve. I think he only had a few left.

The hunter is Rick Duggan. This is his 29th species needed to complete his North American slam with a recurve bow. He is a great guy and is very excited about this animal. Full body mount should be ready for SCI this winter.
