I am surprised to hear you're a beaver hunter? I always assummed differently! :D
 
1985 7 x 7 bull. Killed with a .308 win. Tjones was right beside me. 382 gross, 362 net.

The ram was killed in 1993 in the Root. He scored 183 5/8 shot with .280 Rem.

Mountain lion, killed in Root. These two cats were killed 2 days apart in 05. The one on the left was the largest killed in the 2 year scoring period. Mine scored 15 1/16 and his scored 15 5/16

Couple of caribou both rifle, was packing the bow, but the wind was blowing so hard I couldn't hold it steady had to opt for the rifle, don't know which is bigger: Couple of bow killed whitetail, rifle mule deer.

My first elk and taken three hours into a 7 day hunt from September 2011 in Montana. The bear was a nice sow, chocolate in color from two weeks later also in Montana. PUBLIC LAND DIY ALL THE WAY BABY!! These are for those fat bastards selling BS product from tree stands on high fence property...yeah I'm bias!!!

While I have never killed anything that has even had a whiff of the B&C book, I have been fortunate to get representative critters of a few species. My two favorites though were both taken with Archery gear, on public land.

These two are also the only shoulder mounts in my home.

Nothing of mine is going to be big, but I'll get started on them from oldest to most recent.

2004 Idaho Whitetail, if I remeber correctly he grossed right at 130.

2006 Idaho Elk, pretty much just a run of the mill 2 year old but my first archery elk, hopefully not the biggest bull I ever kill. Since him its been all spikes.

2006 Idaho Muley, grosses around 155 if I remeber right. I got a little trigger happy on this tag and got to help pack out a way better buck about a week later.

Sept. 2008 CO lope. 75 and change. 30 yard shot. Drove north and filled my WY tag the next day. Love the lope hunting.
