This was in eastern Kansas. Weight also did not include any entrails or heart/lungs. What kinds of weights do you typically get?

That's an excellent question. I just shot this guy two days ago and I would have thought that the the weight as you described would be more. Tell you what. I still have the meat and carcass. I add up all the parts and give you a weight.i hunt northeast Iowa and the deer are good size.

Ok, interested to see what you get. I wouldn’t be surprised if yours is bigger, average size of deer increases the farther north you go.
