Back from kodiak!!!

Wow what a great trip. That harly was awesome really jealous on that.

Excellent story, excellent pics, and super bucks. Congrats. I love the capes on those winter/rut phase Blacktails.

What a great adventure! Beautiful critters, from the bucks to the ducks. Kodiak is on my bucket list, just not sure when I'll be at a point to pull the trigger on the trip. Might be a few years yet.

To answer your question Ben, the Seek Outdoors tent treated us well. I would recommend a full liner as condensation can be an issue. We didn't experience any of the gale force winds Kodiak is known for, but the did well in the conditions we experienced. I'd say the highest winds we had during our trip were 30 mph. Very spacious inside and the ability to stand up was fantastic.

First off congrats on such fine animals all the way around. Kodiak Island for blacktails is a dream I've long had, but as I'm getting older I'm thinking that dream isn't ever going to happen. So a post like yours is much appreciated.
