I will admit that it is more than likely we had enough labor "around" but there was too much fear to show up to pick. IDK. It's impossible for me to know the cause. It's impossible for you to know the cause. It's just speculation. So, 11 million people came across, and fruit still isn't getting pick, perhaps they don't want those jobs either.
I can certainly sympathize and admire someone who wants better for themselves and their family. But we have to be realistic about how many.
I try to be good at my job. I try to be present for my kids, and gracious with my wife. I don't actually have time to do anything but listen to my friends and clients when they talk about labor struggles. I don't have the time to also be an economic detective.
I'm out. Have a good day.
