I just checked the price of palladium, and see it is up substantially from last year. There were some really large layoffs at the mines, roughly a year ago. A young woman, who is a personal trainer, at the local gym, was very worried her husband would be among those laid off. Fortunately, he did not get laid off. I'm happy to see that the mines are, likely, very profitable now.

The Iranian situation has the markets reacting pretty strongly.

Stock futures are lower, and crude oil is up ~9%.

I'm happy for anyone keeping a job, that can disappear for reasons beyond their control, even you.

S&P 500 likely to drop back into the red YTD tomorrow.

Not a great look leading up to the midterms, I expect the admin to try to whip up some razzle-dazzle soon to turn that around.
