Antelope pictures, finally

Finally, after hunting for 6 days and looking at a few hundred antelope I decided it was time to start shooting.

I saw this buck just before noon, looked him over for 45 minutes and decided to pass and look some more. He and a bunch of does and smaller bucks went into a draw and bedded.

I looked at a bunch more antelope and returned a few hours later to take another look. I snuck to within 150 yards of him, looked at him another 15-20 minutes and decided he was about what I wanted. I put the spotting scope aside, gathered up the rifle and one nifty shot later...dead antelope.

How big is he?

I talked to a guy this weekend who knows a place where he can find 17"ers all over that have never been shot at. I think he was talking about a place called Heaven.
 
Nice antelope!!!! That's an interesting area. Do you happen to know what kind of sagebrush that is???
