Decent open window night temps. We've had, and are having, a moderate June....and our reservoirs are at 100%....out of a 5 year catastrophic drought.

I bet a lot of you folks out there don't even have air conditioning.. Drink lots of water!

Hopefully it cools back down soon.. I'm coming out July 12-18 for a week in the Bob. Wasn't planning for that kind of heat.

110 degree highs in Boise for Sunday and Monday. I'm predicting it's the start of 40 consecutive days of 100 degree plus heat in Boise. We had 30+ days in a row about 5-6 years back but I don't recall hitting 110 degrees. This sucks!

Is it wrong if I hope for this in certain places?

After spending last weekend looking for moose in the Lochsa, I can definitely agree with you.

Living in the chimney called the Bitterroot sucks for a couple months though.

Definitely not looking forward to this hot weather. We need to pray for rain!

Growing up in Las Vegas it was always HOT, I'm talking 115+ around July 4th. Yet every year my mother who is 89 says it never used to get this hot. It's funny how people remember things differently.
That 110 for you guys up in the northern states must feel ike hell.

We've already been in it for the last 2 weeks. Local high temps beginning June13- 94, 96, 100, 99, 98, 99, 96, 92, 95,100, 98,100. Forecast for next 2 days, 98, 96, a week from 83-90, then 99, 98, etc.. Atop that we've only had 1/2" of rain at my house in the last 7.5 weeks. My yard looks as brown as a cow chip with cracks in the clay you can stick your hand into. I can stand the heat but we seriously need rain.
