Here's a gun only a farmer can really appreciate, but even some farmers may wonder why. A short time ago A-con had a thread of a stock-paint job he had done, well that got me wanting to try one as well. Since I bleed green I figured my first paint job would have to be something John Deere. My sons are more talented than me and my daughter-in-law is very crafty, so it became a family project.
We took one perfectly good Ruger 10/22, broke it down, put a fat barrel and a fancy stock on it. Then I did a mock-up of what I wanted it to look like. My son did most of the painting (I made a few token efforts
) and my daughter-in-law made stencils and masks based on my ideas.
