what a way to get it done . its really hard to believe to did not 34000 trail cam pix of him going back for 7 yrs and you had him named
oh well even a blind squirrell gets lucky and finds a nut sometimes.
its so nice being a squirrel some days

that broadhead reminds me about a friends dad telling us a few yrs back in idaho he had shot a bull with his bow but never did find it. the next yr the say guy shoots the same bull but with a rifle this time. while boning it out for the pack he found his arrow from the yr before buried inside the elk . holy cow how tough was that bull ?

Great story, glad it turned out so well for you after freezing your butt off. That buried broadhead is interesting too. I once found a FMJ .22 caliber lodged in the hindquarter of a buck.
