I met up with mtmiller and schmalts for a day of scouting prior to the season.

After those guys filled their buck tags, I decided to look for some does. Less than 2 hours after leaving camp, we had two does quartered and on ice.

It was a good time. I have hunted with Pat a couple times in MT, but this was my first time meeting up with Terry. Both good guys and I look forward to hunting with them again some day.

Deadline for points is the end of this month, so everyone should spend the $30. Nothing like seeing hundreds of lopes and have a relaxing hunt with friends.
 
I also have a shot of the snow fence. Pat was spending a considerable amount of time over there, so this is as close as I got.

My mutt has finally gotten too old to come along Craig... well..most the time anyhow. Looks like Axl has some years left... You mentioned him aging faster... thats a pisser isn't it....
