I"m considering joining up with Wilderness Unlimited to broaden my hunting range. Does anyone have any information good or bad on this club? After talking to the guy on the phone, he said they have to come out to the house and do a sit down with your family to do the application process. Which...
But we had a hell of a trip. I had an opportunity at a 6x6 but he jumped my string. We were able to chase and get on about 5 or 6 bulls a couple rag's and spikes. But couldn't get it done. They weren't rutting or reacting to calls. At one point we were within 80 yards of great bull in the thick...
Who else noticed how quickly, when the topic of Assault Weapons was brought up, Obama diverted to Education? Without even speaking toward it, he shifted. I personally was curious on what he would say.
I've ramped up my practice the last few weeks shooting at least 100 shots a week. (archery)
What i've learned is that shooting with both eyes open helps my grouping by at least 2-3 inches..
It's an individual preferance doing it this way. But I want to hear what others do?
This fire is burning off of Hwy 44 in the Manton/Shingletown area. Started by lightning, it has burned over 15,000 acres and 7 homes in just a few days, it threatens 3,500 homes/businesses. . The fire is only 5% contained and with a dry year and high temps, doesn't look like it will be out...

Has anybody been into Antelope Valley or Copper Basin lately. I'm planning my trip up there and i'm wondering if I should spend my money elsewhere. I've heard that the wolves have thinned the elk herd in there pretty good.
I brought these broadheads up on HUNTBUX thread the other day. But I wanted to repost and see if anyone has any first hand experience using them. A guy I bought a wall tent from out here in california says he used them in Colorado elk hunting and swore by them. Here is the link to the website if...
I just returned back from a deployment to the Mideast with a plane full of the greatest people I have ever been around. It's bittersweet turning around and coming home knowing your brothers are still out there. But Its what we do and we form small families to get through it.
Most of the main...
I just started bowhunting in 2010. I bought an older Matthews Solocam set at 63lbs. I'm using Muzzy's 100gr 225's and they worked great for me on my "1" elk. I"m looking for feedback on pros/cons of the Muzzy's and some insight on other great broadheads out there; in your opinion.
