This fire is burning off of Hwy 44 in the Manton/Shingletown area. Started by lightning, it has burned over 15,000 acres and 7 homes in just a few days, it threatens 3,500 homes/businesses. . The fire is only 5% contained and with a dry year and high temps, doesn't look like it will be out anytime soon. Reports claim 14,000 foot FLAMES.
This is burning in CA deer Zone C

Thoughts and prayers out to the people in that area, including residents and fire crews.
