Your OCD Curse

I’m an engineer so it was driven into me by school/career.

I pay extreme attention to detail to and over analyze everything. Always want to fix something or improve it. Rifles are terrible bc I’m always looking for ways to shoot smaller groups.

I’ve realized it the first time we had a contractor work on our house and definitely have had to consciously tone it down in certain situations. But it’s always nagging me.

I used to work in the field landscaping. Did about everything you could do as a landscaper. I enjoyed it and took pride in doing right by the customers.
I can’t stand mowing my own lawn because it was graded so poorly before it was sodded. The irrigation heads were installed at grade before sod so they’re all very low now. They didn’t space them properly so I have (smallish) dead spots no matter how much I water.
That being said, our house has lots of curb appeal and very nice landscaping, but I see its flaws umpteen times more than the average person. Drives me nuts.
