Wyoming unit 23 Cow

I will be hunting this unit the first week of October, with the option to go back at the end of November. I have Gohunt even though some of the info for this unit is incorrect and of course have Onx chip in my gps. I've talked to the G&F already and waiting on a call back from the biologist. Beyond that, if anyone has any experience in this unit they are willing to share, I would appreciate it.

The elk skedaddle onto private property PDQ. That has been my experience in #23. You can see a herd lying down 150-200 yds. from the fence line on private. They do kill elk on public, but it's either early in the season or real late. JMO

I will be going back at the end of November to try again. I had a day and a half to scout/hunt this trip but without being able to access the HMA on the west side and continuous fog it was a bust. From what I can tell the HMA appears to be the best bet. Any one have any other info they are willing to share?
