We are pretty sure my son tore his ACL this week at football camp. It would be a nice pick-me-up if he drew.

In for the special draw for me and the wife at 2 points past what it took last year. As long as things don't go too wonky on me, we should be hunting hopefully be hunting.

I'm counting on it; maybe with false hopes. Saved all of my luck for pronghorn in Wyoming.

Mrs. Fin asked if I'd take her on an antelope hunt and try to erase the bad memories of when she spined a whitetail buck in Montana and it had not yet expired when she walked up to it. She's not hunted big game since then, so I hope she continues with her determination to get back to big game hunting. With my 7 points and her 12, I am hoping the Special Draw is kind to us.

My daughter took a break. Had her all set up on an antelope buck. She unloaded the rifle and said "Dad, I can't". No problem. We packed it up. Last year she killed one. About 10 years between. It was her 5th Wedding Anniversary. mtmuley
