Wyoming Outfitter recommendation for archery waterhole Pronghorn.
I've decided to pull the trigger on a Pronghorn hunt.
Unfortunately do to life's happenings I wasn't able to make it happen a few years ago.
My plan is to hunt in 2028, from what I am reading. Because I don't have a clue about how to hunt Pronghorn. August is a very good time to archery hunt water holes. By archery for me, I will be using a crossbow at around 350 fps. I have bilateral rotator cuff injuries from my 30 plus years working on an ambulance. I hunted for many years with a compound.
So, my thinking is. If I hunt 2028, I can buy a preference point this year and one in 2027. That will give me 2 points for the draw. If my thinking is right.
Can anyone recommend a reliable outfitter or outfitters given the above information.
I don't want to waste my time and money on an outfitter who doesn't deliver. I know there is no guarantees with anything in life. But, I want to go with an outfitter who can give as close of a guarantee as possible if I do my part of being still and making a good shot.
I think given my situation with health and such. Paying a good outfitter who has done the leg work is worth it to me.
Being as I am from WV, don't know the land in WY. Given my distance scouting isn't really feasible or practical.
So I am going to use an outfitter.
Thank you for your time and I would appreciate any information on a reputable outfitter.
