Wyoming drought !!!

They're fine now. We'll see how the summer goes. Much of the state had good moisture in late April/May so if that precip continues they should be alright...

It’ll be greatly dependent on getting precip thru the summer. Snowpack was very low, so the usual slow melt from the mountains won’t be there thru the summer. Things get more dire as you head south. CO and UT had even worse snowpack. Already a lot of emergency measures being put in place around downstream water needs and wildfire risk. Could be a l-o-n-g summer if we don’t get much rain.

Seen my first calves drop yesterday and overall things are ok right now. Snowpack is a few days away from being fully melted, rivers are up slightly since last weeks snow that lasted almost a full day in most spots up here. 80 again today, hear thunder coming over ridge now let's hope it's got more water than light show!
