    Hello. I am new to this site and to western hunting and I seen you drew a Cow/Calf tag in 2022. I intended on 2023 antelope, but after the winter WY had I decided to save points and try for the Cow/Calf tag 2023. last minute switch and all my planning was for antelope. Kind of overwhelmed with the new plan haha. I have some questions about the process and gear if you would be willing to share some insight. Semper Fi.

    Oh, I see it's valid North of Trapper Creek off the national forest. There is a small walk in hunting area there, Bighorn area 8.

    That is correct. Truth be told when I applied I didnt fully understand the restriction (stupid newbee). But it was one of the only late season units that didnt have difficult public access and still had tags. Another buddy from the corps picked up the same tag and we will hunt it together. Now I have got to find some used gear if I can. Beyond excited.
