WY deer application.

Quick question as I continue to understand WY and the application processes for each big game species. There is a specific unit I am interested in for a deer tag. When I look up the unit I only see a tag listed for whitetails, but no tag for a mule deer. Do I need the region deer tag to harvest a mule deer then?

23 has a general license and a Type 3 whitetail license. Oct.1-14 general license is valid for any deer on private and antlered on public land, mule deer or whitetail. Nov. 1-30 is whitetail only, any on a general license.
The Type 3 license is whitetail only and can be an additional license, season Nov 1-30
