What are your 2025 Hunting Plans

What does everyone's fall look like? I know there's some heavy hitters in the tag department this year. Post up your tags and plans for the fall!

Here's my list for this year.

My main goal is to help my wife with her controlled ID Mule Deer Hunt.

My own are:
ID OTC archery elk
ID OTC whitetail
ID Bear, Mt Lion, and Wolf

First up is central WY pronghorn for my son's high school graduation present. I had a couple friends with a few more points than him who agreed to let him average in if I went with as none of them have ever been pronghorn hunting before. Next up will be 1st season, CO elk in a 2ish point unit with a good friend joining our "out west" crew for the first time so I will be heavily focused on trying to get him and another group member that hasn't shot one yet on some bulls. After that I'll be bowhunting here in MN and trying to get my 11-year-old as much as I can since our youth hunt here overlaps our elk hunt this year. Last but certainly not least will be a SoDak, any buck tag in a neat little unit I've been eyeing up for a few years with my brother coming with to glass and drag since he will most likely draw the same tag in a year or two. Busiest fall I've ever had and it's a little bit overwhelming but I can't wait!!! Good luck to you all and I can't wait to see the grip and grins start flooding in!

I got lucky with a New Mexico rifle pronghorn tag and a first rifle elk tag for Colorado

the wife really enjoys not buying commercial red meat, which adds a lot of latitude to this particular hobby ha

Indiana dove on 1 September.

Colorado blue grouse for a week starting 21 September (I apologize in advance to any big game hunters my dogs & I bump into).

All remaining vacation days will be used for ruffed grouse hunting in the UP at end of October.

I may have the opportunity to get down to SW Kansas at Thanksgiving & New Year for pheasant.

Saskatchewan:
OTC archery mule deer;
Draw either-sex elk in a great zone; and
OTC whitetail.

Wyoming:
Either-sex pronghorn in a pretty damn good unit!

My brother and FIL are also coming down to hunt whitetails so I'll be helping them a lot too!

Only goal beyond meat is a 6 pt bull on the MT elk tag, I'm 2/4 on bull tags with 2 5 pts, hopefully can get a mature bull this year.
