He put up a heckuva fight and releasing him was almost as satisfying as catching him. This rainbow is knocking on the door of those steelhead sized fish some of you are fortunate enough to fish for.

Being lucky to only live a 45 minute drive from the Miracle Mile here in WY. I love it when my kids hook up on a good one and that part of the River certainly has them. Teaching catch and release allows fish like that to live and grow and provide for a trophy fishery.

Kitstackle.com out of Helena. They make about the best marabou jigs money can buy. They are a little on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for.
