When to go?

I am going to be doing a Colorado archery elk hunt this fall. I am having a hard time deciding what week to go. I am thinking the week before Muzzleloader season or the week after. I would like to get into some bugling elk but I am also thinking it might be better to get on elk before the Muzzleloader season has them educated. Thanks for any help.

tail end of archery season in colorado may be best time to hear them for rut activity,,though the muzz season overlaps

Later the better....in terms of buggling. Look for a unit with a limited draw muzzleloader and over the counter archery, less pressure.
