Thought we were missing a whole lot of people recently then I noticed that had all just kept the same avatar and added some variation of freak to their name

I sometimes wonder about @diamond hitch. If I recall correctly, he was a miner who lived in a chunk of earth I admire, and had some good stories from days gone by.

He took some significant heat on here for bragging about shooting a kenneled bird dog simply because it chewed up a heater cord and water dish. After that Diamond hitch disappeared for a while, briefly came back, and then gone again.

kind of ironic this thread was started. not 3 weeks ago i was looking back on old threads (from like 2001) and would check to see when the last time someone was online. sometimes it was like 2003, 20 years since they have been on, makes ya wonder what happened to them and the stories they could share if they were still around HT.
