What is the wait time going to be for suppressor approval starting 1/1/2026?

Are you going through a local store? I would reach out and have them check on the status - mine was approved but me and my FFL never received emails. This was a local store with a SilencerShop kiosk handling a transfer, and my SilencerShop account also was still just showing "submitted."
Yes? Using a local sporting goods store that has the Kiosk. They are the ones doing the transfer. Can came from dealer to this store. The store didn’t carry that brand. ATF site shows 25 days right now for trusts on average not sure if that includes weekends or not.

It's worth having them check - it's possible that it's been approved and they weren't notified. My trust application was approved in ~18 days but I wound up getting the can after about 40 because of not being emailed.

Pre-ordered one on Feb 21st-ish, delivered to my local FFL June 2nd (had all the forms pre-filled out), it got out of jail July 2nd and I was finally able to pick it up. Worth the wait though.

Went to Bob Ward's and paid for two Airlock cans they had in stock on Thursday July 2. Approved on Friday July 10, so 8 days even with the holiday in there. Waaaaay easier and waaaaay faster now than when I first did them back in 2012ish. Back then I had to make several trips getting fingerprinted with ink and having a Sheriff sign something and then send those in and it was like a 6 month or longer wait for suppressors made of aluminum and Inconel steel and figured I'd never go through the hassle again.

Bob Wards had Airlock?!? Thought they were only direct to consumer and you had to be first in line when they announced a quarterly drop? That’s very cool, hope someone near me stocks them.

There are a few places starting to stock them. I got mine through MOA Rifles.

Yep. Airlock sent out an e-mail recently stating Bob Wards and Al's (I think same ownership) were going to be retailers. I called that day and they had the nano, 6.5 and 7 in stock. Went in and bought the nano and 6.5. They still had them all when I picked mine up 8 days later after forms clearing so not sure if folks don't realize or demand has simmered down to supply or what but yea I was getting a little annoyed trying to play their "drop game" and refused to do so because of the increased cost through the transfer fee. Thankfully my patience paid off, with my Bob Wards account the discount I got on the Airlock cans pretty much negated their $25 fee so it was a good swing for me. Just need to get rifles threaded now.
