What is in Dad's trail cam pics??!!

Dad's had placed his trail camera behind his house to keep up with horn size.
He asked my opinion on these two pics. I'm not sure I can give him a definite answer. I told him I would ask the experts!

What do you think it is?

Haha! That's a little(a lot) embarrassing! For some reason a dog never crossed my mind. I've had cat on the brain for some time, with that and wishful thinking, a cat was the first thing I thought of.

Are you sure you don't see a cat?

To better explain why I have cat on the brain. "Rumor" has it, the TWRA released several pair in the area. My boss supposedly seen "something" in his yard that resembled one. The landowner, where my uncle hunts, has "supposedly" seen one.

Ask any of the "Holler" mountain folk and I'm sure they would tell you it's on of these. Sure looks like one to me too !
