around $4.40 here in portland ore metro area for plain 87 regular gas,,gone up .30 cents in just 5 days,and tina kotecs {our governer} gas tax hasnt even been shoved down our throats yet.

Olympic Pipeline in WA had an outage. That will get fixed and switch over to winter blend should bring down prices in coming months, but we have highest prices in the country right now.

Lyondell shut its Houston refinery earlier this year. Phillips is closing the LA-area refinery over the next few months. Consumers complain about prices and the prices aren't high enough to maintain the refineries. Energy availability and low prices is something every American takes for granted.
