Anybody know this guy? I don't have Instagram - but my son does. He showed me this guy's Instagram page while on a road trip. He's got thousands of followers who view his hunting photos stolen all over the World Wide Web. What's the motivation?

My son was instantly blocked after asking him where he got one of the photos taken in my garage..

Here's one of the piles of selfies on the page. There was no name listed, just shitloads of #hashtags. Anybody recognize him?

I used to follow him until he posted a picture of a giant bull a buddy of mine killed and claimed one of his buddies killed it in Wyo. I asked him about it, and who his buddy was. He blocked me as well. I do remember that he claims to have a few bulls hanging in Sportsmans Warehouse in Bozeman behind the gun wall. He's got quite a following and he pretty much just posts pics of other peoples animals. Weird deal for sure.

I saw the pics of Pat's bull like, then your bull and a few others. When he misquoted the size of pats bull (considering he, Pat, posted the score sheet to the internet) I knew he was an image thief.

Does he have a picture of him and a mountain goat that look an awful lot like mtmiller?

I just don't get why people do this kind of thing?

They have to know its going to end up biting them in the ass.

What a tool...

I'm just not sure how you would get any satisfaction out of stealing others photos!
There's too many elk hunters on this forum for someone to not know who he is.

Many (not all) members of different communities often think their community is the only community subject to this S. When you hold your community dear and stay within it, that is understandable. But I've seen this crap happen to Indians, Cowboys, Special Operations, Firefighters, Police, Academics, Sports, and many other communities. They call them "Posers" and "wannabees" and much time and effort has been spent on trying to understand the psychology of it. I don't know if an answer has ever been found.

It's sad, really. But it can be equally as sad when community members get really worked up over it as a slap in the face of those who have earned the classification of "real deal" and "BTDT". Few people outside the community give a S. The guy is a loser and beating up on losers is kind of a losing proposition in itself. Ignore him.

OUCH! I just noticed that was my 1,000ths post! What to do now, what to do?
