If you only apply for 1 tag, a charge means you got it.

If you apply for 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice tags, you won’t know until your account updates.

Takes but a minute to look up the draw recap for your fupinal hunt choice before submitting an application. Good luck and lesson learned. Go look at the recap report on CPW website to remove all mystery of what will happen.


Drew with what looked to be low odds for a rut archery deer hunt have had before. Fun times ahead for Thanksgiving week on tap. I really thought no way it would still have a tag at my point level. Second time I have pulled this tag that a bunch of guys at my level missed on is what expect to see in stats when posted. I will take it!

Not many deer tags worth a $hit make it past the first choice in the draw so most guys don't even put in second and 3rd choices as a NR. I personally always fill out a second choice.

You've got to be a pretty sour person to go in and complain about having to wait a couple extra days for results to come out. Don't like how it's run, don't apply.

I did look up the draw recap and there would normally be no question we will draw. The problem I think is that gohunt must anticipate a lot of people dumping points this year. The unit we applied for in the past five points for muzzleloader draws it all day. I researched the heck out of it before applying. Gohunt’s odds are the only ones that threw a question mark in the mix

Get a life man... she is just doing her job, not making policies. Can't imagine what you try to do for a living...
 
I had fraud with my CC on file, so it won't be charged if I draw. Is there any other way for me to find out if I drew? From what I understand I'll have a couple weeks to pay for the tag in the case I drew.

I mean, I wouldn’t call it “bullying.” It’s just stating the obvious. That CPW worker probably had multiple phone calls that day about the draw system and why “elk isn’t drawn first,”. To go in there with an attitude like that isn’t going to help anything.

You can go in and update the card anytime. I got an email yesterday telling me the charge failed for my son's moose point and I went in an updated it and by the time they ran the bear draws it went through on my card. For my son it showed a payment due on his moose point when I logged in.
