Waiting for 2025 Colorado draw results

A bear preference point is showing up for my son but not for me so looks like I'm the one that drew. It is still just showing as Entered on my account though. Not sure where it shows up if you draw it because in 13 years of applying in Colorado all I have is "Not Awarded".

it was about an hour lag time from when it was charged to my card to when CPW updated. Give it a little more time!
 
T minus X minutes till a newly registered HTer hops on asking for Moose hot spots and then say "Oh I never had use for hunting forums but I sure plan to hang around here and share my hunt story etc."

I do not even begrudge these folks...When I pull a cool tag I am beating the bushes every time for shared insights. Even though it rarely produces concrete actionable intel it usually helps wrap ones mind around the task at hand to start scouting/planning.

Absolutely agree! I definitely work any avenue I can find when hunting a new area to gain as much intel as possible. The truth is that maps and biologist have by far been my best sources in the past. I'm a research nut and usually wear myself out leading up to a hunt trying to eliminate as many variables as possible,, but it still comes down to just getting boots on the ground and rolling with the punches alot of times.

I know what your were saying!

I am still on the fence about even putting the unit number on the public forum for a tag like this... I need to chew on whether I want to put it out there.

For now, I will stay generic and say it's in the south-central parts of the state. I will still welcome any words of advice for moose hunting in CO though for those who may have had this experience before. Thankfully, I have backpacked in this unit before (mostly for fishing) and have seen some moose. That said, I have only scratched the surface of the unit and it's many drainages.
