Not attempting to hijack the thread, but I've heard that saying a thousand times, and I'll tell you straight up that piss couldn't hurt the taste of Cheerios. Just saying!

Maybe illuminated nocks should be legal, I'm sure a lot less wounded elk would get away every year in MT :rolleyes:

Montana has adopted the Pope and Young rules for what is allowed in archery hunting. Since the Pope and Young rules do not allow for the use of lighted nocks, Montana does not allow the use of lighted nocks.

It was a policy adopted in the mid to late 1990's when people were trying to legislate technology improvements. Rather than making their own personal decisions on archery technology, the FWP Commission decided to defer to P&Y guidelines.

Right or wrong, the Commission thought the folks at P&Y had a good feel on what represented the fair chase standards most archers could agree to.

That answer the question?

Right.......actually, its pretty clear that you for some reason feel you are better than the rest of us because apparently you have never wounded anything. Yep, sorry to say I have, no matter how much you try to make it not happen, it does. Your discrediting somene else for their success is really cool of you man, glad you feel better about yourself for that.
 
I didn't slander anyone so no I won't be writing a letter. If your not smart enough to notice the question mark in the original post, go back to 4th grade. The show didn't state he was on a reservation or maybe the issue wouldn't even have come up. Because you obviously are super awesome and know 100% that it was taken on the reservation, great for you. I wasn't there so I didn't know but don't you think its valid to raise suspicion when some says they are in Montana and then zip a bull with a lighted nock.?? I clearly wasn't the only one that was wondering what the heck becasue the issue had apparently been raised before....course I guess the severe bashing only comes when you mention it at the top of everyones holiday spirit..;)

By the way, you and WYO should just just hang out at monster muleys, more of your db crew over there....

I thiought it was just stated earlier today that the Monatana Reservation allows their use. I have no idea what each reservation throughout the country allows or doesn't allow.
 
Some guys like to call out lighted nocks, I like to call guys out that wound lots of animals. Especially if they brag about 600 yd shots, and 70 yard bow shots.

There once was a time you take a guy like that out back and smack the stupid out of him. Now you just ask his girlfriend to do it.

You've taken several shots at him in several threads.

This forum has lots of good dudes on it. You aren't one of them.

Well, since I feel like I lose IQ points arguing with you, i'm just going to point out a couple things and move on. You have never seen me take a 70 bow shot at an animal because I don't recall I ever have, don't make shit up to throw a guy under the bus. I know guys that can make that shot, I'm not one.

I made a perfect shot at 600 yards on my sheep. There was no bragging at all, just pointed out in the story that was the range. Of course you feel that is ridiculous but I'm not sure how my perfect shot is any different than the perfect shot at 150 yards, or whatever your expert opinion seems to be on range.

I also have probably shot and wounded less animals than you have but I guess we will never know.

I've taken a few shots at animals I shouldn't have which resulted in a bad outcome, doubt anyone on this site would be an exception. (except you of course)

And also, there was also a time when a guy would get taken out back and get the stupid kicked out of him when they acted like you...........stupid, arrogant, asswipe, and apparently better than the next guy just because he says he is.
