There is a huge amount of useful information available on rokslide, there are also some Neanderthal hooligans, just like here.
Well, I just placed an order for an OG Six-Five. The fact that it only adds 7.5 oz and 4” to the length of the rifle while also providing (by most accounts) pretty solid suppression finally won me over. That and I found a local shop that would do the transfer for $40.
Maybe it’s silly to get such a specialized can for my first suppressor, but I think it’ll be awesome for hunting and like The Troll alluded to—it likely won’t be my last.
Thanks for the update!Shot mine today on a 18" 6 creed and a 22" SAUM. Seems to suppress about like they say it should, should be a good can for you.
I did have some issues with the threading on/off getting sticky. Have read that can be an issue with ti dust on new 3d printed cans but hadn't experienced prior. Will fill you in more once I dig into and diagnose it better.
The nomad xc does seem a bit quieter but its not huge and not something you'd think about unless shooting them back to back.

Edit: rokslide fellas say the ti dust deal is normal. Should resolve with a cleaning of the threads. One recommendation was to use grease to get it on/off then spray with a degreaser to get everything cleaned off. Kind of a PITA, would be nice if that wasn’t a thing but should be a one time effort and hopefully good to go after.

My unsolicited $.02: you're going to appreciate the shorter length more than you are the lighter weight.I’m vapor locked between the US OG 6.5 and an AirLock Ind Zero Gravity.
$150 saving - edge to the AirLock
Available right now - edge to US
2 oz weight saving - edge to Airlock
1” less on end of barrel - edge to US
They both have the same advertised DB dating at shooters ear.
It’s not unsolicited… that’s why I posted about it.My unsolicited $.02: you're going to appreciate the shorter length more than you are the lighter weight.
One other factor, even though it goes against the choice I made, is that you can get the US OG through Capitol Armory and not pay additional FFL transfer fees. I pre-ordered an Airlock and all local FFL's I contacted for the transfer charge at least $125, so the price comes out a lot closer to even. OG 6.5 will probably be my next one but I'll have to buy another rifle first.I’m vapor locked between the US OG 6.5 and an AirLock Ind Zero Gravity.

Counterpoint to your counterpoint - the OG 6.5 would also require a special thread adapter for my rifles threaded 1/2 x 28…One other factor, even though it goes against the choice I made, is that you can get the US OG through Capitol Armory and not pay additional FFL transfer fees. In testing, most people reported that the Airlock was a little quieter. However, the cans are so light that mirage is a real issue in non hunting scenarios. My strategy going forward will be that cans are married to a rifle.Counterpoint to your counterpoint - the OG 6.5 would also require a special thread adapter for my rifles threaded 1/2 x 28…
The airlock requires a 1/2x26 to 5/8x28 adapter too. I guess it's less special than the OG one, but added weight and cost nonetheless. Wish they'd make them in 1/2x28 recognizing most folks are putting these super light suppressors on lightweight guns with thin barrel profiles.Counterpoint to your counterpoint - the OG 6.5 would also require a special thread adapter for my rifles threaded 1/2 x 28…
I was sort of pissed that the Nano I ordered will be 5/8. I threaded my 22Creed 1/2x28 because every damn 556 can around uses that as standard. Now I need an adapter…The airlock requires a 1/2x26 to 5/8x28 adapter too. I guess it's less special than the OG one, but added weight and cost nonetheless.
