The garage thread got me thinking about this one. Always enjoy seeing how others display their critters. As I mentioned in the other thread, mine have been relegated to the stairwell and garage. Thinking I can squeeze in one or two on the wall to the left. However, I'm a big fan of Fin's pedestal mounts. Not sure how I'm going to pull that off.

She has given tentative permission to occupy this space with a bull should I ever find one that won't be overshadowed by the shed.

Still waiting on Greenhorn to post some pictures, but I suppose I'd settle for some by Oak or Dink. I'm guessing Critter has some pictures worth viewing. Anyone else?

best types of hunt talk threads - these!!!
Awesome to see what mostly average and above average dudes
Can do and DO!
Impressive all!

Some amazing trophy rooms! The elk look great, but the groups of pronghorn are very impressive.

Awesome trophy rooms guys!

For those reading this thread regarding Utah trespassing laws, the state changed them 2 years ago. The burden is now on the hunter to know if property is private or public. It used to be that as long as it was not cultivated farmland or posted then it was fair game. Now it is trespassing even if the private land is not posted.

How big is that space above the mantel? Be sure to know that before you take it to the taxidermist. My bull was far from big, but the mount is 53" tall and sticks out 43" from the wall. Much, much bigger than I would have guessed.

See page 38-39 of the 2015 field regs. It is a bit confusing, but it looks like they just added "fenced or enclosed in a manner designed to exclude intruders". The highlighted box above that, IMO, does not agree with the text and Utah Code citing.

I've got over 6ft to work with, so it should work for anything I'm capable of finding, which isn't much. Regardless, will probably do a European and save the money for other out-of-state hunts. Thanks for the heads up though. Someone post some pics, please.
