Tips in calling feral hogs

Okay, I watched too many YouTube videos and now want to do my best to call in some feral hogs. I've been killing them for years, mostly around water but would like to experience the excitement of calling them in for a shot or two.

I picked up a FoxPro caller for just over $100 and added downloaded a couple of additional audio files.

At this point what I'm wondering most is how often to call and for what duration? Of course, any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

We've had luck with fighting boar sounds and social grunts, if hogs are nearby. Never called them in from any real distance. We were only using a Cass Creek call though not a FoxPro. We were in pretty thick cover too in Texas.

Good luck! In San Angelo texas herds of 20-30 pigs run around all over town. Crazy!!
