This is starting to get ridiculous

I had a close encounter last year. No shots were fired but it scared the bajeezers out of me.

We tented a couple nights last week during a fruitless Colorado first rifle season...& found fresh scat less than 25 yards away that was as big as a beer can. Brought new meaning to the phrase "hold your water".

I hope I never get that close...I agree with Bart...certainly seems that a season would be justified and good for everyone!

Looks like a great year for you Montana boys to make a big push for such a hunt. How many people have to get killed/injured before its time to put some fear of humans in those bearsYour state would stand to make alot of $$ from that draw I would imagine also

Heck, I had a sow grizzly and 2 cubs decide to "jog in" and take a look after I had filled a B-tag Wednesday morning 15 minutes east of Kalispell. Luckily I saw them coming before I started to field dress it, @ 45 yards I fired a warning shot which made her peel to the north of me...

Yes it's starting to get pretty scary.I leave next week for a Deer hunt north West of Cody near the Yellowstone boarder and i will be tent camping.

I will be carrying Bear spray and a 44 mag along with a home protection shotgun for the tent and hope i don't need any of them.:rolleyes:
