I can’t believe how big of a deal some of you make out of this. Shooting swimmers versus blanks doesn’t make you a man. However, some of your desires around sex do.

My first marriage I learned better. Sex was a faucet. It was turned waaaay down after marriage and was weaponized. I screws up thinking things would change. She was who she was.

When I went back to dating I knew what I wanted and made it clear. I quit dating a few, and then ended up with a match.

Had mine done about 25 years ago. I remember it well. Had the doc give me a goofy pill to calm my nerves and the two of us were laughing and telling jokes through the whole procedure! When done he had me put a death grip on my little fella for about 15 minutes - I guess like any wound you put pressure on it. So I sat there for 15 minutes with both hands in a death grip. The nurse who came in to tell me I was good to get dressed and leave was too embarrassed to look at me. LOL. I was in lala land and didn't care who was around. Ha! Moral of this story if you are nervous is to ask for a goofy pill if they don't offer you one up front and certainly accept it if they do. I had it done on a Friday and took it easy over the weekend. Good to go on Monday.

Gotta say, I don't remember the death grip part. Maybe I did and blocked it out, not sure.

I've told this story before but not sure if it was here.....

My Grandfather and I shared the same GP in a Family practice. Doc was a few years younger than my Grandfather and a couple weeks post Vasectomy, I drove my Grandfather to a checkup with Doc. After grandpa got done Doc came out into the not empty waiting room and said loudly "how's yer balls Johnny?"
