Got home a little early from work to get wife and I's stuff ready to go to our shack in E. Oregon for the weekend. Was informed that she was not going, but I was supposed to pick my brother up at o'dark thirty in the morning for a guys weekend only to celebrate my 63rd on the 2nd. How cool is that? Bro and I have been calling back and forth and texting to figure out who is taking what. WE pretty much know what we need. Hope to post some pics on Monday.

Scratch the beer, take whiskey. Beer makes you fat.
Were in I think is what is called the Sumpter Unit in OR. Ran into F/G and I had no clue how many cougs in that area, unless he was putting the BS on us because we had Idaho plates. Does up the wazoo, and a very stupid 2X3 buck in our meadow yesterday morning that was very surprised anybody would be up that early. I crapped, he crapped and he hit the road. Road some high ridges, major deer sign and some elk sign in the roads mixed in. Able to get a climpse of two cows and one spike. All in all just a good weekend to get away from the city.
Will post up some picks of the country later, but this is something a 62+ year-old shouldn't be doing.
