Nope. Not overrun. I was born in Shelby. Find myself looking that way more and more. The Bitterroot has been a great place to raise kids. And now grandkids. I do wish sometimes I could get away to those places. Then I see the Granddaughter. mtmuley

Up in the Rincon Mountains, east of Tucson. Pulling 4 to 8 miles almost every day, going for 2K + elevation gain on every hike. I’ll be 70 in elk camp this year. Want to move like I’m younger than that.

There are plenty of reasons why some small towns are mostly people living in trailers. I won't elaborate. Not conducive to outsiders. Nearest latte is WSS, anyway.

We hit a lot of those washes, kinda like walking in snow but not. Best thing about wintering down here, there is an awful lot of good accessible conditioning hikes. Your little pup did well on those short legs.

For the record, last time I fished there i didn't catch diddly and my hat ended up in Harlow.

I usually train in the "foothills" near Lone Mountain twice a week. This was my wife's idea. Ugh. Kasey's around 13 years old so I Ioad her in a front pack after about a mile and a half. I wish I had her life!
