Explored a little river bottom area this afternoon, I had to get out of the house and get some fresh air , best part of the day was walking up on 2 WT bedded under 50 yds , we just looked at each other , I took a pic and walked away.

I know that slot canyon. Was it dry enough to walk up or down a ways when you got to the big one? A lifetime of fun in that area...

We made it about 3/4 mile downstream from the intersection before we hit a pool of water and turned around.

The 6 year old really wants to go hunting so with youth turkey around the corner I decided to get him practiced up. Shot the .22 quite a few times and then the .410 and did quite well. I bought some TSS which I really didn't want to fork the money for but want him to have the best chance to be successful.

Let him shoot one of those to make sure it patterned and to know the distance limit. That one shot cost me 24 minutes of my working life...

If it's the one I think it is he's 6.5. when he had his first rack he was a 7 put with two little points that pointed across towards the other beam
