Thanks! My brother made it for us as a wedding present. The strips are from a fallen white pine that grew somewhere special to us. The gunwales, thwart, etc. are cherry. It blends in better in the reeds, than our other canoe and I like paddling it.

Hasn’t changed much in a little over 40 years. She was employed by AF&G at the time; I was a Bat shit crazy fisherman and not what she expected to find. The colors have faded and I guess I might have done something with the reflections, but you get the idea.
