It's pretty surreal here this Fall. 70 degrees today. I keep not hunting and instead, today, I threw on a pair of shorts and climbed a local mountain with my wife. Maybe tomorrow I'll go swimming...

Blew hard all night and into midday. Not sure what the peak gust was. This tree died this last year and I was wondering if it would survive the first big windstorm. One of those deals where you want to tell your neighbor “hey you might consider…”.

The only difference between the two groups is 0.075” off the landings vs 0.045”. It liked the 0.075” jump. Now to tweak the charge.


Didn’t go deer hunting like I’d hoped this year.

We close on this Monday. Where we intend to build our retirement house. 5 1/2 acres 5 miles from the nearest town. At least I’ll have 50 yard range for getting velocities for reloading.

Road Moose !! Came over the ridge from my evening deer hunt to see moosie walking down the road just a few hundred yards from my truck , she was more curious about me than anything, after I took a few pics, then I headed down the hill towards the truck , she just stood there and watched me the entire time and never moved
