Sunday Pic of the Day

This is the Biven’s creek fire in the Tobacco Roots. 10 miles from my house as the crow flies.

The McAllister fire on Norris Hill is 3,500 acres now. Crazy to think it was caused by lightning from that storm, then was several hundred acres within a few minutes due to wind.
Must be mostly grass East of 287.
Feel like that burned in the last ten years. Hate to have a residence up behind the Norris transfer station.

When conditions are bad, this is what happens. mtmuley

Seems like a Pretty well known fellow “Don” that holds a match or two up there every year lives right in the path. Pretty sure that area burned in around 2013-2014. Hopefully he is safe and his place is protected. Put countertops in his house. Good dude.

I heard a thump on my window while stopped in traffic , looked over and found this little hitch hiker.
Figured if I could ease over to a suitable spot I could send him on his way. No luck , he jumped off while I was still in traffic to probably seal his own fate.
Win some , lose some.IMG_5131.jpg
