Sunday Pic of the Day

Tractor is cheating.
Let's see. Ive been cutting firewood every year for over 50 years. At 10 I was told to take the saw and go gather wood. Every year, dropping trees, cutting in lengths, load in truck, unload at home. Cut in to blocks. Split by hand. Ive never cheated. First year using the tractor to move wood from my cut zone on one side of the shop to opposite side where I store it.
I'll wager my property against yours you couldn't keep up.
Let me know when you are ready.😉

Just messing with you. But if you really want to come to my place and “show me how it’s done”, I’ve got plenty of standing dead trees and a half empty wood shed… 😜

Fifty years for me also. However, now procure in bulk as easy loads are no longer there for gathering. 'Gave up the ball-bearing worn old log splitter for one with motor and hydraulic wedge. 'Still alot of work ... but got ahead this season, with over seven cords split and stacked in my old woodshed.
Raw winter warmth.

Like "money in the bank".

Wife said if I want to continue cutting and burning wood, it's happening outside in a firepit from now on. 🤬

Fair week is finally coming to an end here. Week started off terrible with the daughters 4h showmanship/market goat sticking its head in a hole and getting stuck and dying 3hrs before weigh in so she had to take her alternate goat which was a scrawny little thing. Was early morning starting Wednesday showing her rabbit, Thursday morning showing her goats for showmanship, market, and breeding classes, Friday morning showing her pig, Saturday morning she was called back to do the round robin, and Saturday afternoon was the sale. Youngest even got to show her goat in the open class this year.

Outstanding @brockel. I took stock to the fair as a kid too. A lot of good things learned. Congrats to your girls. mtmuley

Man that's some poor timing. Those goats will do the damndest things. Had one do something similar a few years ago shoved it's head between panels couldn't get out and suffocated itself.
